A Guide for the Implementation of RAP
The purpose of this website is to guide health care professionals in the implementation of Roaring Adventures of Puff (RAP). The information contained in this website is typically provided during an intensive two-day instructor-lead training session. The availability of self-paced, self-directed, on-demand training will enable more health care professionals to deliver RAP to children in need. The online forum will allow health care professionals to more readily share their successes and the pitfalls they encounter along the way.
A Place to Exchange Ideas
This website is designed to be a repository for ideas and strategies that work for children with asthma.
By working together, asthma educators can collectively:
- enhance teaching strategies and tools
- more effectively plan and implement education programs
- better meet the needs of children with asthma
Let us know how we can make this website better meet your needs. We value your input.
What This Website is NOT
This website is not a guide for children with asthma and their parents or caregivers. It is not a self-teach resource for the personal implementation of RAP. If you are a child with asthma, or the parent or caregiver of a child with asthma, please consult your provincial, state or local lung association for information regarding RAP and the management of asthma. Both the Canadian Lung Association and American Lung Association provide information for children and parents, including links to local asthma associations.
