- Triggers
Triggers
Target group: quiet
Supplies: paper and markers
Activity
- Have children make a list of triggers that are found at a specific location (e.g. school, cottage, playground, home). Encourage them to list all of the potential triggers in that location.
- Switch the group and have the children identify ways of avoiding the triggers listed, or discuss how to manage that trigger so that it would not be a problem (e.g. warm up prior to strenuous activities).
This idea came from the Ontario Public Health School Asthma Project.
