- Hide and Seek Triggers
Hide and Seek Asthma Triggers
Target group: best for ages 6 – 10, active
Supplies: trigger signs for each player, paper, scissors, crayons, tape
Activity
- Played in the same manner as regular hide and seek.
- Those players who hide, are triggers and the player who is “it,” is the "Trigger Fighter." The triggers are allowed to hide, while the "Trigger Fighter" counts to one hundred with his eyes hidden at home base.
- When finished counting, the "Trigger Fighter" is able to look for the triggers. For a trigger to be safe, they must touch home base before the "Trigger Fighter" and say what trigger they are and a symptom they may cause.
- In order for the "Trigger Fighter" to capture a trigger, they must touch home base before the trigger, state what trigger they caught and how they avoid or control that trigger.
- The first trigger to be caught will be the next "Trigger Fighter."
- Triggers may be identified by a costume or sign, etc.
