Asthma Fair
Target group: all
Goal: To explore various aspects of asthma and promote creative abilities in describing asthma with the children, to increase self-esteem by having children display their own work.
Size: Large groups (size may vary)
Supplies: an area to display the different projects children have worked on throughout the sessions. This may include videos, posters, clay models of triggers, skits, puppet shows etc.
Activity
- The children will display their projects to their parents, teachers and/or other children, similar to a science fair.
- Other variations could include real animal lungs or models of asthmatic lungs etc. at the fair.
