Allow discussion of the asthma treasures they discovered today.
What asthma treasures did we discover today?
Lead the discussion to knowing how to control their asthma and take care of themselves. Help them write, "Know how to control my asthma and take care of myself - is this correct? _________________________________________" in the treasure section of ____________________________________________.
Take a minute to discuss the parent/teacher presentation for the final session.
Let's talk about our plan for the parent/teacher presentation. We need someone to welcome the parents at the beginning of our presentation and some to thank them at the end of the presentation. Who would like to help?
Select one child to welcome the parents and another to thank the parents.
Let's review what each of you will do during the presentation.
Ask each child to name the title of his or her skit.
Remember to invite your parents and teachers. The invitation is on the back of your Fun Book.
You may wish to read the invitation for younger children.
Encourage the children to tell their parents what they learned during this session.
When you go home, tell your parents how it feels to have asthma and how you can make your concerns less worrysome.
Provide the children with information about the next session.
Before the next session, prepare for our big presentation! Practice your RAP song or puppet show. Try the Fun Book activities at home and come on ____________ [insert date]. Remember to bring your Fun Book and diary with you.
If possible, send home a reminder note for parents regarding the final session.

After a session discussing how to counter negative feelings, take a few minutes to let the children describe something they enjoy.
